I chose this picture because it depicts the support, dedication, and enthusiasm that all of you had for this campaign.  It wasn’t about me or you, but about the passion we share in what is happening in Montana’s Public Schools.  We fought the good fight to the end. We kept the focus and we keep our faith. It is in God’s hands and for that reason we can rest in peace.  

The Lord provided the best team in the whole State to represent this campaign. You are phenomenal and I thank each of you and the Lord for giving me the privilege to work with you. I am very sad that we were not given the opportunity to put into action the plans we had to make Montana’s schools the A+ system it would have become under our leadership. Now is a time to recuperate from the exhausting journey we have had and each of us will pick up our sword and do it again when the calling comes.

I want you to know how honored I am to have had each of you trudging the trail, holding me up, encouraging me and sacrificing in so many ways.
